Demodectic Mange
By Pat McKay
My demodectic mange program should take about 3 weeks to see results. Here's my program:
Demodectic mange depends on a weakened immune system, so once you build your dog's immune system, s/he will be able to do the rest. Weakened immune systems are cause by vaccines, drugs, chemicals, poisons, and canned/dry/freeze-dried dog
foods.
Unfortunately, harsh, poisonous treatments, such as what your dog may or may not have
already been through, don't work...as you already know...because they only weaken the immune system even more. What you do:
1)
Immediately put your dog on my raw program. Go to www.patmckay.com Click
on Free Ebooks: Click on Pat McKay Raw Food Basic Recipe. It is easy and simple to do. Don't think it's going to be a huge amount of work or expense. Once you do
just this raw food program, including the ESSENTIALS4ALL BIO-8-POWDER & CLO-3-PEARLS; you will see a tremendous difference in
every aspect of your dog's health, plus the fact, that you will save literally thousands of dollars in vet bills.
2) Give your dog gentle oat-water baths
when necessary. (See Oat-water bath instructions below.)
3) In between baths, spray your
dog with a Lemon Skin Spray or a Green Tea Spray. (See below)
4) S/he should be eating once a day; the best time is between 7am to 9am or whatever is
closest to that time that fits your schedule. If you have been feeding twice a day, then feed the majority of his/her meal
in the am, and give him/her just a small amount at the second meal and transition him/her over to once a day.
Just this nutrition program will clear up the mange, and you will see new hair growth...
beginning with peach fuzz...within days.

OAT-WATER SHAMPOO: Depending on the size of the dog: For
a 40# dog: Soak 1 cup of old-fashioned oats in 4 cups of purified water; let
soak for 3-4 hours or overnight; strain out the oats and use just the oat-water. Wet
down your dog completely with warm water just as you would to start giving a bath; apply the oat-water as you would shampoo;
gently massage the oat-water for 1-5 minutes or however long your dog is enjoying it; then rinse thoroughly; then rinse again;
towel dry. Do not use a dryer of any sort.
LEMON SPRAY: Thinly slice a whole lemon, including the peel; add it to 1 pint of near boiling water, turn off stove,
let it steep overnight. The next day either strain this solution and put it in a brand new spray bottle (do not use a bottle
or spray that has been used for anything else) or use gauze pads (does not need to be sterile gauze) to apply this lemon solution
on the involved areas. (Or you can use an old bed sheet; it just must be a material that doesn't leave lint or any other residue
on the skin.) Be sure to cover his/her eyes when spraying around his/her head with the Lemon Spray.
GREEN TEA SPRAY: Brew the green tea just as if you were going to drink it; let it cool till it is warm;
this spray should not go in the eyes either. However, it is an excellent solution
for ear problems or as an ear cleanser. Fill both ear canals completely full
of the warm green tea; gently massage around the base of the outer ears for a minute or so; let go; stand back; and the dog
will do the rest by shaking his/her head and getting rid of the excess tea and the gunk in the ears.
SPRAY BOTTLES: Whichever spray you
use, be sure to always use a brand new spray bottle for each different spray, and it must be a new spray bottle that hasn’t
had anything else in it before.
